Lauren B. (me) is the editor behind Grammar Bites. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Mathematics, as well as extensive background working on staff as lead Prose Editor for an innovative, hands-on literary journal.  In addition, I have held the titles of Vice President and President of my school's chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society; I am also a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and the National Scholars Honor Society.  With dozens of research papers under my belt, I am an expert in the use of MLA style and of Microsoft Word.

Clients of Grammar Bites have praised the editing services as excellent, invaluable, and eye-opening.  I believe strongly in offering constructive criticism, not just criticism.  While I will, of course, let you know if I find errors or room for improvement, I also believe that every writer has the right to know what works in his or her piece - otherwise, how will he or she know what not to change?  My goal is to offer you a positive experience that will only improve your efforts in writing.  Most importantly of all, I want to maintain every writer's voice.  Each writer is unique, and it is important that, through all stages of revision, the writer's voice shines through.
